From the wonderfully strange animated series Black Butler comes this Pop! set. We had reported on this much earlier here though at that time the word on the street was these would be “Hot Topic Exclusives” (from August through November only). That is partly true. They are in Hot Topic now, in limited quantities. But - one thing to note is if you want the set you can actually pre-order these and save via Entertainment Earth. One caveat to note, the Hot Topic Exclusive Pre-Release Ciel figure has black hair - so likely there will be two for this particular character. I prefer the one depicted above for the color differentiation between the eye patch and hair (a blueish-gray).
The Grell figure is incredible in detail (and weighty-ness) - so if you collect for sculpt, design and uniqueness and do not know about or are even disinterested in this class Japanimation - THIS is the figure to get. She has bold red hair with glasses to match in a very slightly different tone, with cool eyeglass string holders. She carries a lil’ chainsaw with a smile, people! Though the Undertaker figure is also emblazoned with the lil red Hot Topic Exclusive Pre-Release sticker there is no visible difference (unless it’s so minor its barely visible). The figure itself is pretty much b/w + shades of gray. Collect ‘Em All!
