The Six Million Dollar Man 8 Inch Action Figure comes to us from our friendly affiliates at the very cool online shop, J and K Stuff. This husband/wife team have a lot to offer, but primarily it must be noted that they most certainly provide a personal touch to everything they do. From thoughtful packing of figures and collectibles to hand written notes and sometimes a surprise extra, they really provide a true service in an otherwise anonymous industry. In an upcoming article I will spotlight the new "mystery box" service they are just starting to provide. Keep an eye out (not exactly like Mr. Austin, that is!).

So what do we have here?! There are actually three varieties of this poseable figure and here is Col. Steve Austin, the version without mustache -- the two other styles include one with a lil' painted on 'stache and the third is Austin in his famously sporty red nylon jogging suit. The figure from Bif Bang Pow! is from a larger series that includes four additional characters from the show including Oscar Goldman and my fave, Fembot! Here's what J and K has on hand (but know they can custom order anything for you).

Action figures derived from the TV series The Six Million Dollar Man.
Multiple points of articulation. Series-true fabric clothing. Retro styling.
Better, stronger, and maybe even faster!
The TV show starring Lee Majors was a hit ABC series that ran from 1973-1978 and over those five years the programmers showed us how they took a US astronaut, a man barely alive, and built the world's "first bionic man". The figure touts a true-to-form retro styling and pretty fair likeness to the actor. The upper torso sports a wavy painted tuft of cartoony chest hair while the matching tan shirt and trousers, made from a somewhat thin blended fabric, are complete with tight stitching - especially on the buttoned shirt pockets, nice detail! The figure is mounted to a card and sealed in the front sealed plastic retainer.
