WE ❤ FIGURES (& YOU SHOULD, TOO)! We talk about action figures and vinyl collectibles all the time, and just can't stop! After six strong starter weeks the Go-Team could use additional talented writer/videographer-types, who are also collectors, to join us. Contributors generally submit a single story for consideration weekly, reporters will submit brief news articles as they happen as well as craft reviews of certain figures and series.
Some of what we will talk about (but we have few limitations) are: superheros/villains, comic books, Manga/Anime, Magic, Star Wars/Star Trek, movies like Avengers, gaming (all platforms), TV shows like Arrow/The Flash/Gotham, events like Comic Con and toy fairs, collectible lines like kidrobot, Mezco, NECA, Funko, McFarlane, Sideshow Collectibles, Bandai and so much more. Sometimes we focus on items that can be found at one of our friendly affiliates, other times we step way outside the box to find things no one else knows about, or step back to discuss vintage things that have resurfaced. We welcome new faces who are interested in popular sub/culture, especially where it relates back to these wonderful, wacky, scary and adorable miniaturized figures of some of our favorite characters of all time.
All our roles are unpaid, however, as a writer/video contributor, you will gain exposure to a vast like-minded community of nerds, geeks and the uncategorizable - and those who love all of us obscure beings. We are excited when you are excited - especially when you have original ideas to share with a growing public readership. We welcome unique idea pitches for a series of articles on a certain subject, special interviews or a behind-the-scenes exposé of a toymaker or artist. Our team is international in scope, so we truly welcome anyone to join us (at present, the site will continue in English). Many of our writers build relationships with local vendors and resellers to obtain lovely things to write about, or gain access to special events in the name of Go Figure!
