J and K Stuff is a wonderful small online business that truly understands collectors, after all, this husband/wife duo are collectors themselves! They offer wonderful customer service, everything extremely personalized. Anything you order is packed with care (because they do), wrapped and boxed and all safe for its shipment to your home. It's as simple as that.
Now, in the past year with the wave of mystery boxes that has risen from the depths of nowhere, Jesse and Caryn decided to do something different, and basically call it "Boxes of Stuff". I like the no-nonsense approach here. It's all based on the options you select, from popular themes such as Star Wars, Doctor Who, X-Men, Horror, and more -- then you choose the cost tier ($10-$100) and then they pick and choose special things to go inside your mystery box. It's a perfect gift for someone you know who is gaga for Guardians of the Galaxy or fanatics for Funko. We went a little off the norm by asking them to create a "villains" box for Go Figure and this is what they came up with at the $25 level:
Little did they know that I am a Twilight Zone lover, so that was a nice surprise. The box is a plain cardboard box, no frills, and I love that. They put the effort and value into what they pack inside, rather than the need to spin glitzy graphics that may deter your eye off the prize inside. The higher value in this particular box is the delightful sense of surprise. Also, an added benefit is you may get something that you may not ordinarly collect, and it could start a new wave for your bookshelf or cubby. Order your Box of Stuff for yourself, for a friend!
