THE FORCE AWAKENS: All galactic on the set! Today the title of Star Wars, Episode 7 is released and it's great, just great. However, it is holding back a little, remaining a tad mysterious. It begs the question, was the force asleep? Where did it go in the first place and was it simply buried and this is the afterlife of its colorful characters? One thing is for sure, with this integrated cast of characters, all filming somewhere in remote, coastal Ireland the force, as it were, will certainly be re-imagined for new audiences.
Rebel Alliance Calling: One would imagine that Luke Skywalker will most likely become the elder figure, a latter day Obi-Wan Kenobi - perhaps taking the knowledge and will power of his legacy to train a new Jedi Master. It's his turn to become the role model for the next generation. But with star-power Harrison Ford aboard, you would imagine there will be several opportunities for a "let the good times roll" to get the better half of three plus decade of fans to hop aboard the Millenium Falcon, though it's been a true millenia since we have seen these two side-by-side. We can only hope and pray to the goddesses that it will be lacking corny fare (ie: JJ Binks + co.).
The title awakes one thing for sure, high expectations!
