Hello again and welcome back to Weirdsday. This week is going to go off with a bang as we take a look into the Jinx Minecraft Creeper Anatomy Deluxe Vinyl Figure. Minecraft, a sandbox indie video game and brain child of Markus “Notch” Perrson took the geek/nerd and gaming world by storm in epic proportions when released by Notch’s company Mojang in 2009. Originally released as a PC platform game its unexpected phenomenal success now sees it available on multiple platforms including Xbox and PlayStation. Not long after its initial rise come the merchandise range, that again, is a major success.
Along with Steve the main character of Minecraft, one of his villainous monster counterparts in the game is the Creeper, the T-N-T filled exploding enemy that is the bane of many players. All seven have pull-a-part pieces that give you a detailed look into a Creepers complex make up, giving gamers the upper hand in defeating these all terrain combustible terrors, when building your world in the epic block building game. No detail was spared with this figure, including its premium foil embossed packaging and detailed labelling for each part. It makes for a great piece to display in or out of the box within your collection.
With no real functions other than being a puzzle-style figure with so much effort in the details there isn’t anything I can see as a failure. The fact that the design has been kept to the original look as in the game really stands out for me. Standing at 8 inches tall, with its vibrantly coloured details on all 7 pieces, this is a must have. Expect this figure to blast your wallet upwards of $35 regardless of where you purchase it.
