When you think of the name Marcus and put "epic" alongside it, you know there is only one figure that I could be talking about. Yes indeed folks it’s the Gears of War 3 Epic Edition Marcus Fenix Figure by Triforce.

The Gears of War series, developed by Epic Games and published by Microsoft Games Studios exclusively for the Xbox console, is a military science fiction third person shooter. The third edition to the series, although delayed in release by 5 months in 2011, with well over 1 million pre-orders, proved that this edition was the most anticipated game for that year. With that came the Epic Edition which seen the Marcus Fenix figure showcased to gamers all over the world and a must have for any diehard fan of the Gears of War franchise.

Triforce got it so epically right with this amazing figure that if you didn’t get a pre-order in for it you sadly missed out unless a random order wasn’t collected. Now-a-days you're able to pick one up easily enough online, and occasionally in store, and I would strongly suggest doing so if you’re a lover of the Gears of War franchise like myself. As the figure is only available with the game it’s well worth spending that hard earn cash to get it along with the extra goodies that accompany it.

Down on one knee and propped up on his weapon of choice the Lancer Marcus is represented honouring the fallen. The intense details in the PVC figure are so realistic and true to the character you can help but stare and admire the figure as time passes you by. With not one thing overlooked you would think you were looking at Marcus in game. Even his Lancer looks exactly as it should.

Words simply fail to come to me whilst I sit in awe holding the figure trying to review it for you. It really is an epic piece that anyone would just enjoy. The ruins in which Marcus is kneeling are just a small piece of the structure that once stood there is marked with the skull in cog logo. This also marks the place where fallen soldiers' cog tags are found to be collected in game. This entire figure is a perfect representation of the game and everything in it. It certainly won't disappoint the toughest of critics that lay eyes on it.
