Today I'll be taking a quick look at the Walking Dead series Rick Grimes figure from McFarlane Toys.
ARTICULATION: The most pleasant surprise was the addition of the updated articulation on the hip joints. Although it seemed only a matter of time given how well it went over on the Daryl Dixon and chopper box set. He does his iconic revolver pose, although the neck tilt is difficult without fear of breakage. An excellent swinging pose with his machete, and if you're like my little sister, he can ride along on Daryl's motorcycle.
FEATURES/ACCESSORIES: Overall this figure had great intentions but fell flat for me in most areas. A head sculpt that came out stretched and apelike, a different color paint on the arms than the torso, and you can't quite strike that iconic Rick gun pose. The accessories are impressive though: two pistols, a machete, and prison gate chains are nice add-ons.
