You could say it's "mini me" ;) - but in reality it's the minds of MyFaceOnAFigure.com at work! That's right, just like He-Man, Sharknado and Harley Quinn I've been immortalized in 8" form! Oh, you can do this too - anyone can!

The first thing I noticed about this service is that the customer service folks are very responsive - after all it is YOUR face on an action figure - and they do a great job to make sure you are satisfied. To get there they have very clear and bold directions. In the end I was so excited to see what I'd turn out like in figure form.

Basically they use a scanning process which overlays the clear, cleanly lit images to the figure's head sculpt - which looks almost like it's an old-fashioned ceramic doll head. They got my eyes and feature right after just a few tweaks. Understandably the sculpt is exclusive to the head only - so my lengthy gotee was not re-produceable, though they got a perfect salt/pepper look (maybe I'll shop around for action figure Lee Press-On beard extensions?). They also literally have 100's of clothing and accessory options - and after some serious browsing - which was a lotta fun, I managed to get close to typical threads you might catch me in like my signature hoodie, glasses and blue jeans. They also sent me a baseball cap, though they noted it wouldn't fit - so I'll have to put on my own research cap to locate something in the ballpark (sic). Many of these items, and the figure to a certain extent, echo classic Mego-styled features.

It really does have a strong likeness and he just may be making other appearences on GOFN soon enough! MyFaceOnAFigure.com really made the process easy, just have a look at their particulars here:

It was mostly fool-proof and the turn around was within a week from the time I sent them my images until it was in my mailbox. Pricing can range from $29.99 for a basic figure up to $100 for a two-pack - and this includes the highly customized and well made cardback and true clamshell case which opens/closes as you need to take your figure out for a posing session or what have you, keeping it protected when not "in the spotlight". This would make an amazing gift for any of your collector friends, bar none. I think it might be fun to spar this shrunken self against my Marvel Select Chitauri Foot Soldier, or maybe ye olde NECA General Ursus on a future episode! What do you think? Florida-based, the company offers a full FAQ page to give you a full idea of what's in store. Now, if I could only get him to do my laundry!

Highly recommended!
