re:Masters of the Universe - Episode 1

Imagine the toy store filled with all the top sellers from Star Wars to G.I. Joe and there’s this new figure that will soon be the next big thing. At the time he had no cartoon, no movie yet this new action figure would move mountains and be the guy we all in our generation would inspire to be. Its name was He-Man. Not knowing anything about He-Man yet we all still ran to the toy stores and got our own He-Man action figure shortly after they came out with a cartoon and a lesson in every storyline showing us how we could be better versions of our selves.

The figures all had the same body type just different faces but it was that shiver punch he has with his waist that was really awesome, he is really one action figure that could knock out other figures. So he can’t fly but he can do anything else that Superman could do with his smarts of science and his strength which showed that all it takes are muscles and brain power to be really super, yes it also helped to have a friend that’s a inventor to give you some gizmos from time to time to help you with your adventures.

He-Man (b. 1982) came from Mattel, and they finally had something that countered Barbie. But the size of the figure would lead one to say He-Man didn’t grow up until 2014 when they finally made the figures the same size as Barbie with the giant Masters of the Universe line, which we will get into more later on. With his friends fighting the forces of evil, the bad guys were also something amazing in their own right. As bad as Skeletor you still had to like him and at times even root for him, in the cartoon they gave him some great one liners and that laugh is a laugh that all evil villains seemed to be measured up to, even though there was nothing more to him then blue skin and a skull head, Skeletor is still a staple of villainy.
