Capt Solo Crashed: GOFN Special Report

LOS ANGELES, CA: On Thursday, March 5th, beloved 72 year-old actor Harrison Ford was in a plane crash and injured due to possible engine failure! As an experienced pilot since age 54, he was flying a vintage WWII era double passenger aircraft when he then hit a tree and crash landed in the Penmar golf course in Venice, just outside Los Angeles. The actor has survived other crash landings in the past.

Reportedly, he sustained a head injury and a broken arm. Emergency services who treated him on the golf course where he landed then rushed him to a local hospital where he was expected to undergo surgery and is now in recovery. His son tweeted that he is in stable condition (having suffered moderate injuries), referring to his dad as "an incredibly strong man"!

Here's the air traffic control audio:

Ford is best known for playing one of the most Iconic space pilots in the history of the sci-fi realm as Captain Han Solo. We salute his freedom of flying and wish for speedy recovery! Today we are taking a closer look at an action figure bearing his likeness. The Black Series Star Wars "A New Hope" Action Figure (Hasbro) is a great addition to anyone's Star Wars collection.

Dressed in the classic blue pants and black vest, he comes equipped with both the storm trooper utility belt and his original gun holster plus a second pair of hands with the gloves for operating the turret on the Millennium Falcon. I suggest you buy one now if you haven't already, who knows - the price probably just doubled since this tragedy occurred. You can find related Han Solo items here.

Everyone here at Go Figure News is standing by you in support for your quick and healthy recovery Captain Solo. Don't worry, we won't "tell you the odds", you can "fly casual" as much as you like. We just want you to get better and live forever!

We wish you the best Mr. Harrison Ford. We know you just completed filming for the upcoming Star Wars film, but we also know you have the sequel to Blade Runner in the wings. Please heal up and make more movies, we love you!

Best wishes from all of us at GOFN!
