'Con Season is coming around in full swing for 2015! Action figures! Statues! Novelties! Vintage! Any and every collectible you can think of can be hunted down and collected at conventions. A few weeks ago I stopped by Long Beach Comic Expo 2015, in Southern California; this was their largest show to date and the Expo has definitely expanded far from just comic books, writers, and artists. This year, the hall was at least three times larger than previous halls used, and the amount of vendors, booths, and tables increased dramatically! P.S. this is one of the smallest conventions I attend throughout the year, be prepared for the epicness throughout 2015 for WonderCon, Star Wars Celebration, and SDCC!
I actually did not pick up any items this convention, but just submitted a few comics for grading through CGC. There are again, plenty of comic vendors around for attendees wide array of comic options!
Of course, at any convention, there is the abundance of NECA! Everything from Predator, Alien, Simpsons, Pacific Rim, ¼ figures, scalers, Gremlins, Apes, and more! The majority of vendors house modern figures, but a few smaller sellers sometimes have a hold on the older and harder to find figures.
Some of my favorites to run into are Play Arts Kai (which are never found at a decent price by the way . . .and all the Star Wars figures, new and old!
I am always on the hunt for a hat, but I usually end up budgeting for everything BUT hats, and Pop! figures are in abundance wherever you go! Endless walls and vendors with nothing but Funko Pop figures! And you STILL can not find the Pop! figures you need!
