Pick Your Poison: When Penguin Returns

Probably one of the most memorable scenes from Batman Returns is the army of penguin commandos that The Penguin has ready to unleash hell on Gotham. Ok, maybe that movie was too weird for kids (don’t you think?).

Remember when the Penguin commanded those penguins in Batman Returns? He may have been taking his name a little too seriously. However, they were pretty cute in a deadly sort of way. This Batman Returns Penguin Commando Life-Size Statue from Hollywood Collectibles will let you relive those deadly penguin attacks.

This 20-inch tall prop-replica statue even has the mind-control helmet and candy-cane striped rocket. It is a limited edition of only 300 pieces and will retail for just about $500. It’s nicely detailed and ready for your army if you think you are the next Penguin. Get him before he waddles away!

Batman Returns is a 1992 American superhero film, directed and produced by Tim Burton, based upon the Batman character appearing in comics published by DC Comics. It is the second installment from Warner Brothers with Michael Keaton reprising the title role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. It received favorable critical reception based on 67 reviews collected by Rotten Tomatoes with 80% of critics having enjoyed the film, as it should because it grossed worldwide total of $266.83 million.

Which brings me to this theory, what would happen if Tim Burton weren’t fired. If he remained as the director, would the third and fourth Batman movies have been different if they were impacted by Burton's style? How would the fans respond to him having done the remaining films and would they have been successful?
