JFK, LAX, HEATHROW! A Fistful of Kozik

With eleven different varieties floating around out there we tried our hat in the ring (thank you Dov!) facing off against Heathrow the Hedgehog! This lil' guy is one of the latest cutie creations from the mind of Frank Kozik. The mystery mini series comes in a colorful box with an inner foilbag. The boxes have a holographic seal of authenticity too, which I think is cool given that from time to time you may see copycats out there. Made in Hong Kong by BIC Plastics the sculpt is by Bigshot. We did an unboxing, so have a look...
The figure comes in some interesting colorways, and we were fortunate to get five out of the half dozen we opened here - only receiving one double! They comes in rareness factors as follows: 3/16, 1/8, 1/16, 1/80, 3/80 (we got one!) and 1/80 (the chartreuse and purply-pink one). Here's how they stacked up...

As you can see, he's a slightly rotund, and a bit "guilty. His belly button is actually sculpted, the paint applications are bright, shiny and glossy and matte (depending). With the classic Kozik signature embossed in the nicely flat bottom base this critter says coyly "I Hate You" (or at least it does on the box). This is Series One (so hopefully that means we will get even more in the near future!).....
This was the tangerine double from a few angles - check out the cool back sculpt:

Kissing cousins. From the profile Heathrow has a slight resemblance to maybe a seahorse, or some Sneetch-y like character from Dr. Seuss - but the end result is original, Kozik. Stylish + fun/ny! The eyes are to the skies and the snoot has a lovely slight upward turn.
