Look what just popped-up, literally! The new Fizzkids are the first outing, and quite a debut if I might add, to the launch of Louisiana-based Carbonation Toys' new line. Arriving in a cardboard box, individually wrapped in foam I felt I was peering into a futuristic "green" six-pack! The instructions are simple and elegant and there's a secret inside these cans! Take a look at the flavors they offer:
There's Vicious Dog (Sparkling Water), Alien Limeade, Rummy Cola, Zombie Juice (Black Cherry), Cranked (Cola) and Bone Crusher (Rootbeer). Palate pleasers all, until you gently lift up the "can" from its base to reveal the even more colorful characters within....
Underneath the outer conical can-like exterior lies a test-tube looking inner plastic dome enclosure, each with a wonderful animated critter that are kooky and odd with a great variant of expressions and relationships to the advertised sense of "refreshment" you might get if it were made for human consumption. There's a jittery kitty, a cheshire smirking squat alien, a peg-legged pirate vermine, a pouty bad boy in prison garb, a wide-eared pup with a collar almost his size (its a separate element that lays around his neck and torso) and a green and lean student zombie.

The cans which are the exact same size as a typical soda can have a cool plastic pop-top though you only have to slide the base off easily to reveal these, so they act like small displays in-and-of themselves. Clever and practical. These figures are incredibly innovative and should fly off the shelves at the various conventions these guys travel to. We highly suggest supporting this initial effort because if this is what we have to look forward to I'd love to taste the entire rainbow, please. And they are less than $15 a pop...and even more affordable if you get the set in this six-pack format. Check out their shop for details. Ahhhh, truly refreshing!
