From Marvel Comics, Sideshow Collectibles will soon release the brand-new Daredevil Premium Format Figure (Edition of 1000).
By day, Matt Murdock is a successful criminal attorney, but by night, he guards the neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen in New York City as the masked vigilante; Daredevil. With heightened senses, the Man Without Fear charges past the broken ruins of a Lady Justice statue and into the night to combat the injustice he cannot tackle in the courtroom. The sleek and muscular hero is disguised in his fantastically sculpted iconic red costume with raised ‘DD’ logo and fabric details, wearing an expression of intense concentration under his distinctive horned mask. Skilled in combat and armed with his signature Billy club weapon, Daredevil will do whatever it takes to protect and defend the innocent.
I have the opportunity to watch the Daredevil on Netflix and it was awesome with tight adherence to its source material’s history, high production quality, and a no-nonsense dramatic flair, Daredevil excels as an effective superhero origin story, a gritty procedural, and an exciting action adventure. Its now became the talk of the year as it was released two weeks ago and already created a buzz.
The pulpy style and brutality (torture is one of Daredevil’s tools) clearly seeks a higher sense of realism, which must be balanced against the notion of a blind superhero who can shimmy up walls and whose spectacularly hearing lets him to function, among other things, as a human lie detector. Charlie Cox brings the necessary mix of grit and Marvel-esque self-doubts to the dual role. This Sideshow Collectibles gem is expected to ship: July – August 2015 and will be listed at $379.99.
