The 2011 film Real Steel starring Hugh Jackman was a spectacular take on futuristic boxing which involved robots that were controlled by humans fighting in a ring. The movie starred several awesome robot designs including one of my personal favorites, Noisy Boy. The purple and yellow Japanese robot was in the beginning and quickly gets destroyed because Hugh Jackman’s character, Charlie, gets cocky. It doesn’t take away from this robots awesome look; which the new 1:6 scale figure by 3A toys captures quite amazingly.
3A is known for its robotic looking figures as well as the amazing detail that is put into every figure, Noisy Boy is no exception. The figure stands at a whopping 17 inches (43.18 cm) tall and has amazing paint applications as well as over 500 LED functions. The figure however does not come with batteries; you will need to buy them separately. The figure is a bright flashy purple with yellow highlights; and Japanese decals just like in the film. He is very articulated which allows you to put him into any boxing poses that you wish.
