PATHFINDERS UNITE! WizKids and Paizo team-up to bring you a brand-new series of miniatures for Pathfinder Battles. As these freshly hit the shops, be on the lookout for this motley mahem-making half-dozen. They are made of a durable plastic and measure about 1 to 1.5" each and are amazingly detailed for such lil' pieces.
GATHER YOUR HEROES! As you build your miniatures set to accompany your growing Pathfinder Adventure Card Game you also get six exclusive cards which can be used when building your character deck. If you are still unfamiliar with the game have a look here:
The package is a small stage of sorts, with castle-like stone tiles (cardboard inner) which fit perfectly on the stone setting I had placed it, almost too perfectly...meant to be. The windowbox shows off what you'll get inside including: Kyra the Human Cleric, Harsk the Dwarf Ranger, Biter the Badger (Harsk's animal companion), Amiri the Human Barbarian, Merisiel the Elf Rogue and Ezren the Human Wizard. They are painted with wonderful precision for multicolored (including some small metallic details) game figures - and will become valued collectables.
The standout favorite here is Amiri whose stance is a powerful warrior. She looks ready to thrust forward with much bravery. There are so many elements to this bity refined piece, including the multitiered leg coverings. She stands tall for the tribe of Six Bears. You can mix/match these how you wish, however, each figure comes with a boon card - only available in this set. They describe powers, the owner and depict various accessories. If you want to play the game you will have to look at the cards as short stories to a much larger adventure. Ezren the Wizard, as the elder in this set, has a fearless look about him. Complete with a walking stick (weapon/wand) his blue velvety garments are refined and ready to confront as need be. The stoic look is solid - however, the small figure doesn't have his traditional snowy beard/gotee. That would be a lot of teeny tiny hairs my friends.
Beautifully printed in full color these will give you an edge when playing with your regular game group - or with several expansion decks out there, you can trade 'em of course. A round of PACG usually runs a few hours and is recommended for those over 14 years of age. If you happened to miss out on the Iconic Heroes first set check this out.
If you are planning to add this to your Pathfinder arsenal plan on spending around $30 for the set. Given the quality and enduring popularity of the game it would seemingly be an investment to hopefully see it to Set III (hitting stores later this month!...). To locate this set near you try this.
We recommend this kit at 8.5/10 for quality sculpt and paint, + some supercool cards! Get 'em for yourself right here!
