NECA has a full schedule of releases set for Summer 2015, ranging from retailer exclusives to San Diego Comic-Con exclusives to regular releases as well. A few have already come up and passed, such as the Pacific Rim Rubber Baby Otachi, Concept Art Horizon Brave, and yet another Gipsy Danger, this time Reactor Blast version. We have also been surprised with a release of the Terminator T-800 EndoSkeleton and Robocop Spring Action figure (watch our recent PlayArts Kai video review to compare) -- and then a few surprise shippings like the Predator 2 8-Bit Predator.
Coming up for the rest of the summer we have some hot, hot figures making fans and collectors berserk! Some of my favorites are the John Matrix from Commando, Dark Horse Comics Predator, and the Ultimate Terminator T-800! These will all be big hits and sell-out items, so be sure to get your orders in online or stay on top of your local retailers.
As for convention exclusives, we have (hopefully) the Pacific Rim movie toys figure set planned, as well as another Predator (Ambush) and a new Terminator (Retro Glow-In-The-Dark Endoskeleton). I say 'hopefully' for the Pacific Rim set as it was shown at Toy Fair 2015 this would be an SDCC exclusive, though we have not had much information on it as of yet.
We are getting plenty of reveals throughout the summer to top things off for collectors. Everything from Planet of the Apes "Apes", Pacific Rim Flying Otachi, Alien vs Predator Kenner 2-pack, and much much more.
Last but not least, this Summer is full of releases from NECA's other lines such as Marvel, DC, and Predator earbuds and scalers. We have Devil May Cry, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Aliens figures. NECA is also set with a new set of Simpsons throwback figures, Body Knockers such as Godzilla and Baby Groot, and a 1/4 scale Christopher Reeve Superman figure!
