EE Exclusive Marvel Avengers Titan Heroes: Iron-Man & Hawkeye

What’s going on ladies and gents...LJ the Toy Addict here to give you a quick review on two awesomely cool toys! Hasbro has released a line of Deluxe Action Figures called Marvel Titan Hero Series. I originally saw them at Target in a set of six exclusive to Target. The set included Captain America, Stealth Iron-Man, Wolverine, Hulk, Spider-Man, and a silver suit Iron-Man. Now Entertainment Earth has an exclusive set of Marvel Avengers Titan Heroes, which we gave away in one of our recent contests. The EE Exclusive set includes Iron-Man & Hawkeye. Both figures stand 12 inches high and feature light up weapons only included in this figure set.

The Iron-Man variant figure's suit is blue and white with a gold faceplate molded after the Marvel Now Iron-Man that appears in the Superior Iron-Man Comics. This is the only Iron Man figure out there to date to have an Avengers logo on the suit, which is really sweet. He also comes with a gold and red light up blaster that attaches to his wrist.

Hawkeye is pretty sweet as well - this variant figure is based on the Hawkeye that we see on Avengers Assemble and the popular online multi-player game Marvel Heroes 2015. This figure also comes equipped with a Lightning Bow that you guessed it, also lights up. Check out the video below to get a better look at the actions of this figure set:

I like the size and color choices of the figures. Although they look cool and they are definitely aimed at a younger audience. There is some articulation on the figures the heads, arms, and legs move, though the legs only move at the hips and the arms only at the shoulders, so no putting these guys in too many action poses. The light-up weapons are an awesome addition, but the light only stays lit while your finger is on the button and once released it goes off. I personally would have liked to see the light effect be a one-touch type of thing creating a light up sequence - or to have a sustained illumination until the button is pressed again, but hey I’m just a guy who likes toys and spends money on them - no big deal.

Despite the minor things I mentioned this set has temporarily sold out (for now they can be purchased from the website in "not mint condition", but I would hurry they will probably be gone by the time you get finished reading this line. No worries though as I’m sure many second hand retailers and smaller chains will be carrying these in their physical and online shops. If you haven’t already snagged a set of the Target exclusives I would head down to your local store to see if there are still some available. Better yet give them a call before you head down and save some time and gas.
