With each passing, we collectors always consider this question: "What comes next?"
From just about any and every company out there, sometimes we never quite know what will be coming next.

Take for instance, Kotobukiya's massive diorama reveal: Age of Ultron Hulk vs Hulkbuster! Kotobukiya is VERY light on their Age of Ultron, or film-version Avengers pieces overall. But having this massive two-piece diorama revealed is quite a surprise and something those who can afford it and have the space for, will truly enjoy.

Another take with Kotobukiya is their San Diego Comic-Con 2015 exclusive announcement: Alfred Pennyworth! This has to be an ever larger surprise than the Age of Ultron set. Taking a look back at previous SDCC exclusives by Kotobukiya, we have always had female characters in fun, lively, energetic poses with bright colors and stand out displays: Spider-Woman (2014) Harley Quinn (2013) X-23 (2012) Emma Frost (2011). Although the 2015 exclusive falls in the DC Batman line, Alfred seems a bit dull and 'irrelevant' for this line; standing straight up, holding a white plate with a tea cup and kettle, with a snickety face . . . I am hoping the next two reveals (Star Wars and Marvel maybe?) are far better offerings.

The last company to cover is our beloved NECA. Those who have followed my 'Hunters and Collectors' articles, as well as my separate pages, know I am a NECA junkie. Predators, Pacific Rim, Terminator, and now, BATMAN! But that Batman was one of the biggest, heartfelt moments of NECA's reveals! After the release of the 1/4 Batman, everyone was dying for a 7" scale Batman . . . and after constant denials by Randy over on NECA's Twitter account, the wish and rumored came through and true!

NECA also continues up to this day with their Predator reveals with a little teaser of a new light up feature! Will this be a 1/4 Predator? Will that Predator be Wolf? Possibly Jungle Hunter? Or is this a scaled-up model for a light up feature on the 7" Predators? We will just have to wait and see!
