Buffy The Vampire Slayer: I know I wrote my last article on a Buffy bust but this week's centers on the leading, vampire fighting, demon killing heroine gal herself! This is the Buffy vs. Dracula bust. Standing 7" tall and scultped by Gentle Giant, this bust has a high level of detail including a fully detailed gravestone for Buffy and even "metro roller rink" on the vest top! This was limited to 5,000 pieces worldwide (we found only one available online) and, of course, is one of my favourite pieces in my collection.
This bust was personally approved by Sarah Michelle Gellar and, using Real-Scan technology, captures her likeness very well. This is taken direct from the season 5 premier episode "Buffy vs. Dracula" in which Buffy finds herself transfixed with the vampiric legend Dracula. After being seduced and bitten by Dracula (just for a taste!), she tries to take him on, faking seduction to get close to him in the vital few moments before ramming a wooden stake through his heart...but not before making Xander a willing lacky, his eyes in the daytime if you will.
This bust also has a hand numbered base with matching hand numbered box and certificate of authenticity.
