These Are DORBZ!
If you haven't seen the brand-new DORBZ line from Vinyl Sugar (aka Funko), and you are a collector of mini figures you may just want to take a close look at these 3" vinyl figures (a bit smaller than Pop! and a bit bigger than Mystery Mini lines). Today we are looking at three of the beloved characters from the Marvel blockbuster, Guardians of the Galaxy.
Well here we go with a new and promising series that will appeal to all ages. To familiarize yourself why not first off, check out our video unveiling:
As you can see these are compact cool with a design flare that is immediate and pure fun(ko)! The line has released (or is releasing soon) a few different series from DC and Marvel (they even have the Scarlet Witch and Ghost Rider!). And for those we looked at today, though you see three above and below, there are a dozen in total from Guardians of the Galaxy (including Starlord with mask, Nebula, Groot and Korath among others). The sculpts are tight, the paint is decent and the decals are spot-on. They have 28 figures online and in circulation - however they will be releasing new exclusive figures for SDCC as well as in a giant 6" scale. These may also appear as exclusives in Marvel Collector Corps - the new subscription service from Marvel/Funko which we reported on earlier (included Ultron Dorbz figure).
