Frightening Fall Preview from Sunday Bloody Funday

No time to waste with Fall coming up let's take a look at some truly frightening upcoming horror related releases.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre Video Game Leatherface 7-Inch Scale Action Figure NECA

First up is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Video Game 8-Bit Leatherface. This figure is uniquely different from NECA's other 40th anniversary figure that is also hitting stores soon. This Leatherface is based off Atari's 1983 videogame and stands 7" tall in all it's 8-bit glory. This Leatherface also boasts an incredible 25 points of articulation making for great poses. The main thing that sets this apart from every other Leatherface figure is the fact it is painted pea soup green (even with a green chainsaw). This all comes packed nicely in an authentic reproduction of the video game cart packaging.

Chucky Stylized Roto Figure Mezco Toys

Next up is our friend until the end Chucky. Chucky inhabits the soul of Serial Killer Charles Lee Ray also know as "The Lakeshore Strangler". Mezco Toys does this horror icon faithful by capturing the menace of Ole Chuck, in this all new scale and sculpture of him. Chucky features 7 points of articulation. He also comes with a knife that he is sure to use for no good. Each Chucky comes packaged in his own collector friendly window box, so that he can keep an eye on you.

From the top of his shocking red hair to the bottom of his unique sneakers he's every bit as evil as any Chucky's before him. The painting of his insane eyes, sneering lips and classic coveralls all combine to make this one friend you really want, no need in your collection.

Real Action Heroes No.693 RAH Silent Hill 3 - Robbie the Rabbit

Oh look a cute furry pink bunny, wait is that blood around his mouth? Medicom Toy have release a beauty in their real action heroes Silent Hill 3 Robbie the Rabbit figure. Robbie stands in at a fully articulated 11.8" tall. He is packaged with rusty lead pipe and chainsaw accessories, which he can hold in either hand. Robbie wears brown material overalls over a flocked pink bunny suit, which almost looks like it has been stored in a deep dark wet boiler room at the depths of Hell.

The packaging is pretty simple, let's put the figure in a box with a picture of the figure holding a chainsaw on the front of it. Robbie is also on the back of the box holding his rusty pipe. The thing I really enjoy about this box mostly, is the fact it says 15 years+ on the back of it. Please don't mistake this one for the Easter bunny.

COO Model The Werewolf 1/6 Scale Monster File Series

This is for people who want something a little different in their collection. This will be released in a joint production by CooModel Production, Ouzhixiang Design and Poptoys Clothing out of China. I don't own one, but would love too! (If anyone is reading this). The amount of articulation, beautiful sculpting and eye popping paint job make me a little giddy inside. The fun doesn't stop there, this figure comes with handfuls of interchangeable parts. What else can be said, This one howls for itself.

Freddy Krueger Dream Warriors Variant Funko Pop Vinyl

Finally this bring me to the final figure I'll preview this week which is none other than Freddy Krueger himself. Funko will be releasing a Hatless Dream Warriors variant Pop! figure of Mr. Krueger himself. At press time this looks as if it will likely arrive as a Hot Topic Exclusive. From the pictures I've seen he seems to be a little redder, and his fingers are made of needles that look like they're ready to inject you with nightmares for days to come. Expect to see this in the coming weeks at your local HT.

Well I think we covered most the bases here, Werewolves, killer dolls, creepy bunnies, a man who wears sewed together human faces on over his own face, and of course the King of nightmares himself, Mister Krueger. Not bad, just all evil. Later eh, Chris
