Knights of the Slice: Guest Review

Knights Of The Slice are a Kickstarter funded toy line, started in 2015. They are the mascots of the YouTube channel ToyPizza. Jesse Destasio, ToyPizza co-host and creator of KotS, had a successful Kickstarter with around 200 backers donating almost $14,000, enabling him to bring the Knights to life.

KotS started with TT01 which was sold out by WeLoveFine at SDCC 2015, and, rumour has it that they may be available at New York Comic Con this year too. The main range includes: Lime, Brick and Teal and are now no longer available from WeLoveFine.com for $15. Just in time for Christmas, Hastings stores will be stocking a blind bag assortment which will include the core 3 Knights as well as a Gold Armor, Clear Stealth and Integer AKA "Blueberry" variants. There was also a very cool purple "Jake" Kickstarter exclusive figure based on VSauce3 host Jake Roper.

In hand, the Knights feel good and are made of nice quality plastic. They are fully interchangeable, allowing you to swap parts from one Knight to another and are also Glyos-compatible. Each Knight is made from 19 pieces and are articulated with ball-jointed heads and swivel joints at the shoulder, hips, waist, shins and forearms.

All in all for Toy Pizza fans, Glyos fans and collectors of 1/18 scale figures, these are great customizable action figures that will look awesome on your toy shelf. Pizza out!
