Bots and Monsters: Egg-static

For anybody that's been immersed in the alien universe we all remember the face hugger and them jumping out of eggs. NECA has truly released a unique set of figures just in time for the holidays.

These little alien eggs come packaged nicely in an egg carton with the Weyland-Yutani egg brand logo on display. The sticker on the top of the carton has not for human consumption alien LV-426 cage free eggs and has nutritional facts, and you can peel the sticker off to reveal what the egg carton holds. The side of the carton has the expiration date of June 3rd, 2122. When you open up the carton it reveals safe handling instructions which have the following warnings listed:

• To prevent infestation or prey impregnation keep all living organisms away from the eggs

• Discard broken cracked or open eggs and run far, far away

• Some eggs contain face huggers which are most certainly bad for your health

• Do not look directly into the eggs.

As we look at the eggs you noticed that three are hatched and three are still unhatched. The three that are opened reveal baby face huggers ready to jump out at you. The textures and coloring of the eggs are perfect. The three unhatched eggs come with an X crossed on the top of them (with a pink and green color scheme). The three hatched eggs come with mucus on the top both on the split and inside the egg (there's a green mucus inside the egg also).

The three baby face huggers have limited articulation with a bendable tail, the appendages do not have any articulation. The texture and coloring are just like that of the ones in the movie and you can pose these huggers in or out of the eggs with the help of their tail.

This set would be perfect for any die hard Alien fan or even the casual fan, because you can't have enough Alien eggs on hand. Just remember these aren't a good Easter present as the contents of these eggs will hunt you.
