The tremendously tiny SS Dolphin crashes into my living room! Being of such slight miniature standards I still can not help by finding the pieces of the Hocotatian space ship wreckage. The Captain Olimar steps out from behind a few books to greet me. Captain Olimar is his name a short man with scrunched eyes a pink bulb nose and an adorable space suit. Before we go any further I talking about an “amiibo”. He seemed to have found companionship in strange carrot like onion creatures even smaller in stature than he is in the Pikmin that constantly barrage his fancy much like lost puppies do hot dog vendors.
The Rowdy Red, Befuddling Blue, Yelling Yellow Pikmin adorn the captain’s base. This figure really encompasses the scavenger’s journey that is the “Pikmin” franchise. Neatly nestled atop Olimar’s helmet stands a strange antenna that I can only assume is the reasoning for the captain’s creature’s acceptance into the tribe of cuteness. I really hope they can get that space ship back together so he can go back to his home planet of Hocotate at some point so that our dogs do not eat him but just in case of a crash under “The couch of Never to be seen Again” he has a place on our mantle to rest. In a way I hope they never reconstruct the ship. (Never mind the consequences.) Next Week “The Psychic Powered Pokemon” or “The Tale of Victory Cave”.....stay tuned.
