Cometdebris (Koji Harmon) is based in Japan but grew up in Los Angeles. As a kid he enjoyed playing with toys such as Ultraman, Microman, Robocon, and Kamen Rider. He's worked on everything from magazines to plush figures. He's had his art shown off in various art shows from Japan to America. He's worked with Japanese toy maker Gargamel on several collaborated figure projects, including Cometdebris exclusives Tokoji Seijin and Tokoichi Seiju figures.
Koji has currently shifted his efforts into designing and producing original and custom figures for Cometdebris.com. Each figure is made (Hand painted, Packaged) in Japan by Koji.
Currently a few works that are and will be available from Cometdesbris are Exclusive Kappa Kid a clear Green Vinyl Sofubi standing 4.7 " tall. This figure will be availible at Sofubi Banpaku (an independent Sofubi artist event in Japan). It is availible as of March 5th for 3000 Yen at cometdebris.com.
Also out this month (March 21) is Kappa Shonen. This figure is a Pink and Marbled vinyl, and glows in the dark. Standing 4.7" tall this lovable Kappa wears a Blue shirt and light Purple shorts. This figure will also be available at a handful of events including Sofubi Banpaku and Doki Doki Osaka Sofubi Expo in Japan.
This figure has a price tag of 5000 Yen (about $45 bucks).
