X-plus has just released pre-order for their new Pacific Rim Ric Version Leatherback figure, take notice NECA (there's a new player in the Rim line). This guy is gigantic in his 25cm leaning forward pose.
He'll belong to the Large Monster Series line that X-plus puts out. I for one love that there's one more giant Kaiju in this world, there's never enough. Look at the sculpt on this thing, it's wild and exciting. If all goes well and Leatherback gets bought up, plan on more Kaiju's to be made in this line, specifically Knifehead (which is planned).
This Ric verison will be priced at $165 (USD), not bad at all for a figure of this magnitude. A standard no frills version (no opening mouth, or roaring head) will be available at a cheaper cost. Who knows what else the Ric version may have?
Pre-orders for the Ric toy version end May 24. Look for Pacific Rim 2 movie to open up the rim for more Kaijus to enter this world next year.
