STAR WARS CELEBRATION: Trying to keep up with the Funko factory is near impossible these days. Though that does not halt the wheels of industry from producing yet another huge batch of unnumbered convention exclusives this year. One of the most sought after, of course, are those forthcoming from Star Wars, many of which have been previously announced or depicted. This week several have started to become teased as we eek towards next month's events. And they do not disappoint, save for the BB-8 figure which adds a simple arm to the original sculpt, seems like a half-hearted attempt at an 'exclusive' - yet fans and gray marketeers will buy 'em in bulk as they can. Some of these will be available in other retail outlets (or exclusive through places like Target, Toy Wars, Game Stop, etc.). The Blue Senate Guard (seen in an image pulled off e[vil]Bay) is already pre-selling for four times its expected pricetag. There's a whole new wave of standard (and store-specific) figures coming next month as well. Come an get 'em!
