DECLARE INDEPENDENCE: The new series from LA artist Josh Mayhem who sends a certain message. With a fragile ecosphere, political numbness in the air and a new energized people across this land - here comes the red, white and blue as never represented before.
These are a base vinyl with the addition of resin and then painted in a super shiny acrylic. Along with Kidrobot, the Save America series is perfectly timed to celebrate the 4th, and comes in three colorways (two are variants) and three sizes: 3", 8" and a whopping 20" (for $2500 with only an edition of 3 available).

With his signature blown-away effect these always have a dramatic pizazz with defying lines that reach from the basic Dunny shape. It's as if these figures are one part an homage to Dali and another a creative vision of the mind seeping into the atmosphere. These are lovely and unique customs and we couldn't be more excited that Kidrobot would have them up on its own shop. Fueled with a seering sense of expression, these are some of the most artful figures in the toy-o-sphere. Ican imagine seeing one of these on a cool white shelf all alone with plenty of space for full impact. Each signed + numbered (like the lovely below). Gorgeous.
