WE SALUTE THEE: Starting on August 1st to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary - we, myself and I are going 100% independent here at Go Figure News dot Com. With several of our Go-Team having moved on to new exciting projects (we salute ye) the site will be fully run by one publisher/editor/writer (w/occasional special guests). That plus all of our coverage from there on out will focus exclusively on independent toymakers and artists! GOFN will continue to feature designer toys and action figures from interesting, non-household names w/a twist!
We will no longer cover major brands and/or franchises (unless they are customs, bootlegs or one-offs). There are definitely enough outlets to cover the Hasbro's and Mattel's of the world out there already. We want to inject a greater sense of solidarity in small businesses and the creatives who make our world a better place, rather than populating it with more plastic with bottom lines as a means to an end.
