GOFN's New Collector Of The Month Interviews

Howdy Boys n' Girls of all ages, shapes, sizes, backgrounds - we welcome you all to our latest column in the making! For this one we need your help. We are looking for the most exquisite, obscure and/or otherwise most prolific collectors out there. We figure since this site is basically commercial-free and we can do whatever we want, however kitschy or perverse - it's time to turn the spotlight on you.

The premise for this once-monthly column is simple. It will be an interview with a person (couple, small group) who collects independent designer toys or action figures and has built something worthy of showing off to all those who reach us on the net. The interview will be spiced (or spiked) with a small handful of your best creative images of said collection where you show off your coolest grails, funniest resins, shiniest chrome, most adorable vinyls, bastion of bootlegs -- what have you! We are cool with images that are site-specific (on a shelf above your computer, in custom glass cases, in hundreds of boxes in your basement). We just want to show you off if you are willing to share. We welcome all genres, sci-fi, cuddly, horror, minis, low to hi-art figs, robotic, Japanese sofubis....The more outrageous, the more unique and limited (or weirdly repetitious?) the better. In other words, a stack of Funko Pops in boxes is not going to make the cut.

Are you a Coarsehead? Do you have a dynamite selection of Star Wars custom carded figures? Kidrobot up to your nipples? An army of sixth-scale action figures? If you, or someone you know, anywhere on this planet, have a passion for collecting and are OK about being a lil' bit of an exhibitionist (hee hee), we are your blank canvas. Send us your pictures and give us some background and if you blow our toes clean off we'll get you up in lights sooner rather than later, gator.
