Stranger Things Is Just Too Two

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!: Season Two, it's true. Just announced (confirmed via Variety and Entertainment Weekly). Greenlight! You'll notice the nine episodes (one more than this year) noted in the teaser trailer. Returning in 2017 (unconfirmed date) the series will continue to be under the ink of the Duffer Bros. though the cast has not been announced. Welcome back to the Netflix classic-in-the-making, Stranger Things - we can't wait to binge watch again! It's turned the whole feel of retro inside and out and back again, with an uncertain style that is of its own making. Unlike other faves Wayward Pines and American Horror Story the cast will remain stable (!!!) and we sure hope they bring back, especially, the telekinetic 'Eleven' (or Ell for short) but for now the writers have said “We leave that up in the air.”

The show will expand to new locations (with more 'Upside Down' than before!) as well and most definitely has birthed a new cadre of breakout stars alongside veteran stars Winona Ryder and Matthew Modine (is he still with us?) - and what will the hunky sheriff (David Harbour) do with his badge now that he is assisting the secret government agency? In case you want to wax nostalgic, or if you haven't kickstarted the series yet - here's the original trailer....

Mark Your Calendars for Sometime Next July(ish): The writers were interviewed recently and said (From Variety): “We want it to feel like a big movie,” Matt (Duffer) said. “But there’s a bigger mythology, and there’s a lot of dangling threads at the end. We could explore it if Netflix wanted to continue.” So many unanswered conundrums....
