Superfiction Could Become Addiction

SUPERFICTION OF SUPERFACT? Coming in from Seoul, Korea (and San Francisco) are three new supercool, minimally designed, quietly masculine vinyl figures with a bit of a nod to, say think Portland and the Pacific Northwest (is that Stumptown Coffee in the clip?). Initially we have Nick (a haberdasher), Freddy (classic lumberjack) and Scott (a suited-up businessman). These are only available through concept store, colette in France (each for around $62).

Superfiction, who has been around for a few years, is a design studio that playfully creates their own short stories with these figures. They have a distant resemblance to those of say, Evil Corp., but rely on original characters rather than those from licensed franchises. They have a fluid and poetic model as a 'lifestyle brand' that we can get behind as it would seem from the outset that they claim a sense of balance between a variety of creative cultures, pursuing "the happy life" -- and shouldn't we all strive for such simplicity? They even offer their own 'Double Movie' app, available on iTunes.

Take a look at what we are talking about when we say, welcome to the floor guys! These figures are truly a breath of fresh air in a time when new faces are so welcome on the scene. We hope to have one or the trio to review soon. Everything IS awesome!
