Perhaps you have already witnessed our initial intro video review into the new wave of artisan enamel lapel pins on our YouTube Channel. These have truly taken us (and many collectors) by storm and we expect to do our third installment on or around October 12th - so stay tuned.
This time around we are taking a close look at the latest from Super Secret Fun Club (S.S.F.C.) and the collective, 23 Skidoo (not to be confused with the band). Both of these makers have produced high quality pins for modern minds to take in with a sense of great wonderment. I mean it...these are top notch creations alongside other creative endeavors that they have going on. Here's our video review where we give you fuller details on these shiny collectibles. FOCUS ON FUN: While 23 Skidoo has a love for retro sci-fi, S.S.F.C. steals isms from geek culture an other obscurities. There's a place on my lapel for both, for sure. Here are the pieces we looked at more closely, perhaps you will become as mesmerized as we were to receive these at the studio this past week. All of these are in limited editions of about 100 or less and the craftmanship is top notch. Pins have grown up, now with a dry wit, shaken and not stirrrrrred.
