Tenacious Toys Takes Manhattan

NYCC 2016 BREAKING NEWS: Here come the good folk of Tenacious Toys for this year's biggest New York Comic Con! They do a lot for the community of artists they support, and this year is no different, with a sweet smattering of exclusives, and here's a lil' scoop ladies and gents. And this year it's all about the blue (read on). Remember to check out Booth #309 (which is The Block, as below) while in the Big Apple between October 6-9th. I have this date memorized as it's one day shy of my entering my personal second century...but you should save the date for sure! :)

First up you got Baby Fatts, this adorable lil' guy who is a bit familiar, but in a sensational blue color as a nod to the booth they're being shown is (what a sweet nod!). This one's by Big C, go ahead and click, it ain't hurt nobody! We like the icy feel on this wide-eyes mini dino creature. Only five o' these!

OMG! How we blush whenever we encounter the wackiness of said Dollar Slice Bootlegs. These carded Radical Muslim four-inchers have Bart Simpson in an upside down taqiyah is a nice poke at right wing extremist theories. They have some other cool stuff on their site so check them out (Stranger Things Snack Pack!). This guy is turned out and the artwork, et al looks quite pro dooood.

This icy pants pirate might be reaching for some spare change, you never know. From Rufusart (After Midnight Studios) comes Feeling Cocky in Too Cold To Hold. He made two fistfuls of these two-inchers and we think they will fly ;)

Three absolutely phenomenal custom Dunny's by Cat Atomic! Offering a 3", 5" and 8" scale these should definitely appeal to the most scrutinizing of collectors of the line. The 8" Surf N' Turf in particular has such attention to details from h-to-t, plus the coloration definitely brings you to the shore. These unique pieces will be centerpieces for sure.

You might not know his mugshot, but George Lowe is the impeccable voice behind the lovable Space Ghost! On offer will be a Funko Pop Vinyl figure in his character's visage, with a John Hancock atop! They will have a limited quantity, so these will likely vanish first, just like the ghost in the box!

Lastly we have a pimped out variation on yet another Funko Pop, this time out it's ME-809 by Evilos. He's fashioned five of these gems, no they actually look somewhat jewel-like in an effervescent blue coloration, yet another nod to the peeps behind the booth, Tenacious Toys!

THE BLOCK: The collective at this incredible booth stop on your con visit is a collective including Tenacious as well as: Bigshot Toyworks, NuggLife and Jon Schnepp. They will also host Resin Is King - Series 3. See below for partial sneak previews. Make your travel plans now.

RESIN IS KING: "Each of the 10 artists in the series has submitted 10 pieces to be placed into 100 total blind boxes. Each blind box will come with a sub-3-inch resin figure, a sticker and an insert card.
