Review: Mechatro WeGo A Go Go

ROBOTS R' US: This week GOFN has the pleasure of looking much more in-depth into the Japanese toymakers Chubu/Sentinel Co, Ltd figures known as Mechatro WeGo. This incredible series of robot figures were designed with children in mind by Kazushi Kobayashi (Moderythm), working in conjunction with haus favorite, 1000 Toys. Our extensive video review appears right here:

COME ON, WEGO!

You'll have to watch our video review for a better look at the operations of the figures, but save to say, we give these a 9/10 for considering everything from design to use-ability to storage - oh, and they are a whole lot of fun to play with too! We can only hope to see these lil' bots invade the States sooner rather than later. Right now you can pretty much only find these on Amazon and at Tenacious Toys (they have one up currently), there are a few posted on Big Bad Toy Store and in the future through Nsurgo. For toy and robot lovers alike, these will bring hours of pleasure to kids and adult collectors. The smaller of the two we are showing off will run between $38-70 (depending on style), and the larger, which is just around a foot tall will run approximately $199-250. Here's a few additional images from our studio shoot:
