If you read these pages you realize (for a myriad of reasons) that we have a on again/off again somewhat suspect thing for Funko. That said, and given the weak track record for the ReAction line, the latest release of Jim Henson's classic, The Dark Crystal (1982) not only punches a hole in our weak spot, but proves that the company can, if it tries, make a product that goes outside of its overly repaved lines for something a lil' different, even exotic in this case. So credit is due (at least from these initial glam shots). Funko will drop the Kira & Garthim set as an exclusive for NYCC2016. The sculpts really look attentive with a sense of wonderment. Beside the two boxed sets (above) here's what's going to be out there later in October:
