The Iron Meat series by Restore (Japan) has been one to watch for us here at GOFN, with each iteration this tank of a being, part human part machine gets even weirder! This year he will grace the booths of both Taipei Toy Festival (TTF) & New York Comic Con! This colorway is dubbed their "Iron Meat Burning Sun" and they tell us that "there is a don't touch force". Perhaps this is a force field that will protect it from (or us) from battling radiation and other anomalies? Looks like he'll cost ya around $120, and with a souless look like that once you look into his black pool eyes you will be setting him free from his makers shackles to bring him home to the safety of your collection. He stands ferociously at 8.25", crafted in the finest sofubi style vinyl. They will also have on offer the Neo Japan Guren (katana and all) at TTF.
GO FIGURE! This all brings to mind a lyric in my head: "Everybody needs love and adventure, everybody needs cash to spend. Everybody needs love and affection. Everybody needs two or three friends. These are the things that dreams are made of."
