The Grady Twins were one of the more haunting elements of Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece (penned by Stephen King) The Shining. They appear and vanish into thin air and taunt those who come into contact with them. We are excited to show-off this set in our video review (above). You don't have to see the film to appreciate the craftsmanship here, but we recommend a viewing to understand its inspiration. The Twins by Awesome Toy are unpainted 9" sofubi soft vinyl figures in this 'Light Pink' colorway. The earlier black version is somewhat scarce now, and offered a peak into these which have a lot of subtlety. The girls are available to purchase through (and we thank) Toy Underground. The dress sculpt is quite simple/refined and school-girl like. And the hair has perfectly defining ridges that showcase the variety of clumps of slightly wavy strands within the head-scult. This is a limited release is available as a set (recommended) or singularly (for $80) and shipping from Hong Kong is addtl.
