Japanese artist Touma Rt (@toumart) and American artist Nathan Hamill (@nathanhamill) just celebrated the release of their mashup collaboration, produced by most laudable toy shop-cum-toymaker 3D Retro. Since we were in Los Angeles on other related mishegas we decided to take the 210 up to Glendale for our first visit to this collector's haven. The shop was impeccably appointed to suit all geek-o-phile tastes. Because the very next day the shop was hosting the vinyl figure release Touma was in person (just arriving from Japan), checking out the shop alongside an interpreter, so we had the opportunity to pick this stylish and abstract piece up just prior to it is available to the small masses (only 125 made don'tcha know). Thrilled to get the figure signed, we are showing him off in this video review:

He's a viking, a sci-fi villain, part pirate/part sea creature (lol), he's the classic monster who has arrived perfectly on time for All Hallow's Eve! This guy is available from 3DRetro as well as other select retailers (soon). He is 5" tall and comes in a stunner of a window box with artwork as well as silver foil ink. Its a perfectly quirky mix of both artist's styles and some with the separate yellow birdie figure. Check out some of the outtakes from our photo shoot.
