Video Review: Redman Toys Revisits A Clockwork Orange

THIS FIGURE IS (de)LARGE + IN CHARGE: As you'll witness in this review we give every attention to this 1:6 Scale figure, Alex DeLarge by Redman Toys. The sometimes controversial maker has also produced other sought after and otherwise unavailable fringe characters and is known for his head sculpts and tailoring. We mention controversial because its been said that this figure may be a bootleg/copy of work by Rainman, a Korean artist who does fantastic work, check out this incredible Korean artist's Gang Boy to compare and contrast. Some hardcore collectors scoff at the use of parts and pieces to appropriate a figure that a fandom may not get otherwise unless they pay the big bucks while these are made at a fraction of the cost for those who are on a limited budget. Some have to balance creativity, cost and well, it's important to know the lay of the land when it comes to such things - and where the original sources were rooted.

To our knowledge this is an unlicensed artist concept for a figure, complete with much accoutrements you'd expect to come with such an infamous character. We picked this up in Los Angeles from one of the vendors at Frank & Son. If you are ever in the area, this is a serious destination for collectors, but keep in mind they are strictly opened two days weekly. This figure is just incredible, watch our video review (above) to get our insight on all the particulars that the figure offers, et al. In the meantime you might also want to ogle at a few of the glam shots we did yesterday right here in the studio. Let us know what you think.
