A Trio Of Newness From UK Artist Skelevex

DIE ORAMA: Continuing a recent theme of abstract marble swirls and metallic veneer, Skelevex has just announced his latest trio of delights. The finishes are made from combinations of polyurethane resins, acrylic paint and in one case spray paint as well. Measuring 3" he calls this new bag of bones blindbag series the new Die Orama style Skelevex Vapours. They have a highly worked surface, and come in three styles from top: Driptych, part 14 ($12.46), Corroded Copper ($14.96) + Vapours (re-purplish, $14.96). This lot goes up for sale upon the morrow at 1:30PM CST. In his copper styled piece it looks as though he's really got a knack for adapting faux surfaces in a very realistic manner. We think his Pollock-inspired red and white marvel is just striking with its melting-like outer design, it's visceral without hitting you over the head.
