Thanks to key initiator collector journalist and action figure aficianado Michael Crawford it's that time of the year again, yes it's The Poppies. What is that you ask? It's a consistent award of acknowledgement of the best action figures and designer toy figures out there by some of the best in the biz! This is my third year on the international judging panel, and I take this quite seriously as one of the very few specializing in the world of independent art toys. Right now we are doing our first round-robin behind the scenes, and later a smaller panel will select the final nominations. Secondarily there is a People's Choice Award which you get to vote on! I'm privileged to serve on the panel, and promise to select only the best of the best. But there may still be some wonderful figures floating out there in space that we haven't had an opportunity to review to date, so bend my ear if you have something that would be in contention! These were the 2015 inductees.
