FROM A.C.T.I.O.N. HEADQUARTERS: He was created in the 60s but Captain Action is getting a fresh perspective for 2016. With the help of CKRT Lab (via Valiant) they are now releasing a 50th Anniversary edition with gold embellishments and an icy white Arctic Explorer edition of the popular character in vinyl figure. Created by the same people who developed G.I. Joe, he's been a stronghold since the mid 60's. The figures come decked out with raygun, serrated sword and police cap along with his classic expression. His bulky chest and skinny waist are hysterical in their over-testosterone fueled way. The design is cool and simple and the character is timeless. They sell for a reasonable $21.50 (including tax).
