MEET ALVIN: He's the sort of guy who comes together on your whim. A perfect synergy between action figure, Lego, and art toy all rolled into one! From Korea here comes Anatoy (great name btw) with a fantastic anatomical concept line that breaks it down, both simply and quite, as they say, complex. Alvin (and others) have been in progress since January of 2016 and are now being shown in much more developed stages.
Since KAWS we've seen plenty of versions of toys on the market and in very scarce limited (and unlimited) editions. Though this hits the mark on a new level, bringing humor, color, style and a bit of the peculiar alive in one project. I just love that it wears its internals (almost like tattoos on its back, while the front has a nod to kitschy comic characters of late. Their design, as you can see illustrated uses a nice combination of ball joints to bring together resin in a unique way so that you can take it apart, for all those hands-on, swappable fans out there! We applaud this creation and hope we will have one to review hands-on for you soon.
