Next month is the debut of new work from Thai artist Meow On. who took part in last month's ATM2 event. We had the opportunity to connect about these new figures and are intrigued with the results of what is to come. Mochi & Fufuu are fully clothed and made from polyurethane resin and are all hand produced. Standing on two hind legs they are around 14.5 cm in height (almost 6") and with a width of around 10cm (4"). They are in the process of some final stages before being made available for pre-order (which will be announced soon. We are hoping to be able to review these hands-on for you in the coming 6-8 weeks!
Evidentally the two are described as "naughty dogs who are looking for a romp on the lawn". Oh, the backstory actually gets much more interesting as we were told: The basically moved to space because their quarters were too narrow, they needed more space. Mochi & Fufuu decided to search for new lawns where no one had allowed them before and the first place they decided upon was the moon.
Mochi is a Shiba Inu dog in an orange uniform with backpack kits. Fufuu, on the other hands, is a Siberian Husky dog in a white uniform. He carries an oxygen tank that resembles a Nintendo Entertainment System.
These two are for lovers of science fiction and other universes where animals take on human characteristics. Here they are quite adorable, ready for adventure, with their small variations that will engage the kid in you for sure. Watch for more details about articulation, accessories, scale, etc.
