FUSING APE + MACHINE AIN'T TIDDLYWINKS: Just when you thought the New Year was going to be quiet and subtle in ushers not one but three new custom colorways of Winson Ma's Art Form 12" figures. These are refreshing one-of-a-kind custom pieces that were handcrafted. If you look closely you will see varying metallic sprays, battle-worn effects and one even has some furry detail. If you missed our previous review on his Color - Art Form Vinyl you can go to this link (multicolored version). Here are the promo shots of these three foot tall apes. These are true originals.
First up here you have USApe Machine. This is a bit of ye olde apple pie superhero patriotism complete with a huge chestplate star and a perfectly scraped up armormed look. He's got two different arms, one robotic with a claw and the other more human or apelike. The metallic finishes are impeccable here.

Next up is IronYellow Machine and he has more of a 'franken-ape' sorta feel. The blend of a steely silver with a bright yet bleeding yellow makes for a perfect pairing. Of the three he's the only with two ape/human hands which show scars, as do the knees. His skull is riveted and his cyborg-like red beady eyes are riveting.

By far the most elaborate of the trio is this MadApe Machine whose a bit to reckon with. He's got bronze details, a leather driving glove, a steel claw, furry fringe (for good luck?), a skull emblem. He's ready for battle. The steel-toe upturned rivets would do damage to any opponent. Ma has made intricate steps to cascade the mechanism that runs down his chest. And the crimson meets metal detail in the headgear meets in a powerful overall look.
