The Darkness Came for Clockwork Carrot

Many of you are already aware of Frank Kozik's A Clockwork Carrot but did you know there are several, and I mean several colorways. The latest comes from Blackbook Toy out of Tokyo. This is the Darkness Edition. The figure is cast in a clear BK and painted with a gunmetal finish. It's quite stylish. Previous details that were painted in various colors are now simplify to the black and gunmetal which has a metallic soft sheen.

They will include a variant which has a half golden spray on the arms and legs. With his droopy eyes, dangling cigarette, and pokey ears Lil Alex looks ready to rumble. He comes with the classic long red nosed mask, and pipe accessory. This Japanese sofubi toy stands 11 and a quarter inches tall. He would thrive on a shelf with a light source that could see right through him.

Credit has to go to Monster Farm for their hand casting and to T9G for sculpting. If you remember the classic break in scene in Kubrick's classic this will be a necessary evil. Shipping to the US will cost around $23, and the figure will cost around $139. Just like all the other colorways, this one is limited edition, so if you are interested it will go up for sale on February 5th, so don't delay as these all sell out somewhat quickly. There's your carrot. ;)
